We can right-size our engagement with engineering talent based on what we need at any given time, rather than hiring a full-time team of R&D engineers, who may or may not have a complete skillset or enough capacity to rapidly advance multiple projects simultaneously. Furthermore, we have access to multiple established and certified manufacturing facilities to build, package, and ship our products.
This strategic structure eliminates significant overhead costs. Our model frees us from needing to hire and maintain a full R&D engineering team or investing in leasing or setting up a manufacturing facility with all the required operations personnel. This means we can create life science tools that combine high quality and reliability with intentionally lower costs.
Our imaging workstations are a prime example of our approach in action. Engineers at our partner company Re: Build Fikst work with Ensorcell and our clients to define an instrument from the ground up using OEM components from all the familiar optics and illumination companies. The result is a purpose-built and tailor-made microscope that is, whether in a basic or highly complex configuration, not only expertly designed and assembled but also as much as half the price of a customized instrument from one of the legacy players. We also have specific expertise in robotics and microfluidics that we have applied to our client projects to design fully automated workstations with continuous imaging, all controlled by an intuitive and programmable user interface.

We need to be able to dependably and consistently manufacture vaccines, for instance, to safeguard us from outbreaks of novel infectious diseases and to impart a critical level of population immunity from known pathogens.
Moreso, having control of our ability to develop and manufacture biologics, in particular large molecule drugs whose complex nature requires sophisticated cell biology and biochemistry on an industrial scale, is crucial intellectual and physical infrastructure.
